What science ideas did you learn?
This week in science class we learned a little more about respiration and photosynthesis. We also learned more about chloroplast and mitochondria, and what they are. Then we learned about products and reactants. Another thing we did was draw a picture of a plant cell and discuss the parts and what they do. Something new we discussed was DNA. We did an experiment and the next day we saw the results. That helped us understand more about DNA.
How did you learn these ideas?
We learned these ideas in many ways. One way was by class discussions. That helped us understand everything more because we got to all say our ideas and ask each other questions. Another way we learned our ideas were from homework's. That shows us what we know and then we talk about it in class. He then explains it to us. Also another thing we do that is helpful, is do experiments. This allows us to see the results to what happened.
Why is it important to know these ideas?
It is important to know these ideas because if it is on a quiz or a test. Also if you want to become a doctor or something that involves knowing this, like a teacher its good to know. Its also good to know because in the future it might come up and it will be helpful to know. We even understand it more when we discuss, do homework, and experiments.
