What science ideas did you learn?
This week in science we continued to learn about cells. We learned about a paramecium cell. We learned that it is an animal cell and not a plant cell. We talked about how it move and discussed about it with the class. Another thing we did with the paramecium, was look at it under a microscope because we found it in pond water. We observed it then drew what we saw under high and low magnification. Another thing we did this week was talk about the structures of a cell.
How did you learn these ideas?
We learned these ideas in many ways. One way we learned about paramecium cells was from homework. We did some research and answered a couple of questions. We also talked in class and did an experiment. That helped us a little more. Also, we learned more about the structure of cell and a way we learned more about this was getting quizzed on it. The quiz helped understand it more.
Why is it important to know these ideas?
It is important to know about paramecium cells, the structure of cells, etc because when your doing and experiment you want to know what your talking about. Also if you are taking a quiz you would need to know these things. For example, when we took a quiz on structures of cells, we needed to know where they were located on the cell. If we never learned or talked about it, you wouldn't have gotten such a good grade.
